With Mixed basketball you must have at least 2 Male/Non-Binary players and 2 Female players on the court at any time, and Male/Non-Binary players aren’t allowed to block Female players shots on basket. Jerseys in your team’s custom design are included in your player registration fees. Games are 34 mins running clock and players never have to do bench duty. Positive statistics – points, rebounds, steals, assists, and blocks – are all recorded and uploaded to our website.
Note for First Nations players: Any First Nations player is entitled to free Annual Player Registration while playing at the NCIE. Please use the Contact Us form if you would like to claim this.

With an 8 player team, the fees work out to about $16 per player per game.

The year typically includes three seasons, and once registered a player may play in all Sydney Social Basketball competitions with no extra player registration fee (note: second jerseys cost $53. If you or your team already has jerseys you can ask for a $30 discount).
*Player Injury Insurance offers a rebate of up to $1,000 of physio and is for Australian Residents only. Intent to claim injury insurance must be notified to the insurer directly within 28 days of the injury. For more information please email info@sydneysocialbasketball.com.au
